Hello, I’m Rob Kendall. These days I spend most of my working life work developing and leading health, safety and wellbeing initiatives in high-risk industries such as engineering, construction and airports. This is a true self-expression, but a far cry from my first career as a professional artist. In between, I’ve been fortunate to work as a consultant to companies and not-for-profit organisations on every continent. I’ve written three books on the art and skills of effective communication, published by Watkins, and I contribute frequently to newspaper and magazine articles and do occasional broadcasting interviews. Any accomplishments during my career have been thanks to having outstanding people around me.

‘Thrive’ is a health, safety and wellbeing initiative at AtkinsRealis. We’re happy that it’s won the 2025 RoSPA award for ‘Initiative of the Year’.
‘The Heathrow Way’ is a project to support supervisors who work day and night to deliver infrastructure projects at one of the world’s busiest airports.
